Chianti Colli Aretini DOCG 2022 (0.75l)

A completely traditional Chianti cuvée with a predominant Sangiovese and smaller portions of Colorino, Canaiolo, and Ciliegiolo, as well as other traditional Tuscan grape varieties. Harvested by hand, completely destemmed, spontaneously fermented, and aged in steel and concrete vats for 12 months. A very open, generous bouquet full of red and black fruit, with a dark spiciness, Mediterranean herbs, and cool ethereal notes. On the palate, it's slender, fine, and fresh, with plenty of red fruit, followed by fine tannins that coat the mouth. The intense aromas dominate a slender body, archetypal Chianti: light as a feather, slender as a willow, yet aromatically present and direct. The acidity is wonderfully integrated, the wine is juicy and incredibly easy to drink, and the fine tannins give the wine a very agreeable, tart character. This is authentic Chianti, the way we love it. Uncomplicated, yet so captivating and fascinating, if you appreciate this traditional style.
