Paterna

A small cooperative in the heart of the Chianti region with just three wines, all of them beautiful, honest, and uncomplicated. The 15 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and vegetable gardens have been cultivated organically for decades, producing wines vinified in a very traditional and unpretentious way. Just like their labels, the wines invite you to dream of the Tuscan landscape, cuisine, and lifestyle.

About Paterna

Paterna Sangiovese vine

The small Cantina Paterna cooperative is located in Terranuova Bracciolini in the Arno Valley, where conditions are ideal for viticulture. The winery's 15 hectares of land are home to vines, olive groves, and vegetable gardens surrounding the historic farmhouse. Since 1985, Paterna has placed particular emphasis on organic farming methods and cultivated a respectful approach to nature and the environment. The focus is primarily on regional grape varieties, with particular attention paid to the restoration and promotion of native red grape varieties. Paterna's wines remain true to the tradition of the Chianti region; they are straightforward, honest, and not overly complicated. For us, they embody the concept of a rock-solid wine from the heart of Tuscany: always a perfect match and bringing joy to the glass with every sip.
