The Wine
Eric Louis' Crémant de Loire is a blend of 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Chardonnay. It's aged for 24 months on the fine lees, naturally using the "méthode champenoise" method. A delicately fruity, slightly yeasty nose, wonderfully fresh and fragrant with subtle spice, a touch of brioche and butter, and a touch of acacia blossom. Then a mouthful of fine mousse, wonderfully balanced with plenty of freshness and beautifully ripe yellow fruit. Very generous, totally drinkable, yet invigorating and refreshing, it's truly enjoyable and has very little resistance. A great Loire sparkling wine for every day!

The Winery
Eric Louis
Eric Louis represents a tradition of winemaking in the central Loire Valley. Founded four generations ago by great-grandmother Pauline, the winery today specializes in Sauvignons from the vineyards around Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé, and Menetou Salon. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable methods, often harvesting at night or early in the morning to ensure the characteristic freshness of the Sauvignon Blancs. The result is crisp, cool-climate wines with a wide range of flavors.
