Initially cool on the nose, with aromas of green apple, citrus, and white blossoms, it gradually develops into dark, spicy elements: earthy, stony notes and smoky hints of flint. It's almost as if this Riesling had been walked on slate before being bottled. On the palate, the juice flows to infinity, and the acidity crashes from the tip of the tongue to the finish. It's bright and sparkling, yet beautifully rounded at the edges, refreshing without hurting. With a little air, the spiciness increases, and the green apple ripens. The beautiful acidity remains uncompromising, practically driving the wine down the throat. The mouthfeel is so tempting that the poor taster has no choice but to keep taking another sip.
