The Wine

The Riesling Vom steilen Hang is something like the house's local wine. Cuvée from the best steep slopes such as Trittenheimer Apotheke, Schweicher Annaberg and Leiwener Laurentiuslay, we are drinking a typical cool climate Riesling with Mosel terroir . In the glass it shines a light lemon yellow. The nose is equally bright and crystal clear with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, juicy peach and a hint of pineapple. A pinch of coriander seeds adds a touch of spice. Overall it appears cool and taut. It presents itself the same way on the palate: fresh and juicy , with a fine tannin structure and a pleasant acidity that accompanies the wine without being overpowering. The fresh character ensures easy drinking. It is uncomplicated, honest and simply delicious. A wine for every evening, with dinner or to round off the day.
