The Wine
A very fine, fruity, delicate, and playful nose, with smoky slate, all smooth, yet so precise. And above all: a truly archetypal Mosel Riesling. Totally silky and velvety on the palate, the nose continues seamlessly on the palate. The finest yellow fruit, underpinned by this slate-like minerality, subtle saltiness, and ripe citrus. The sweetness is completely contained by the mineral, stony structure, coming through only slightly, and wonderfully balancing the intense 2021 acidity. Feather-light, fresh, and fine, a poem of elegance and playfulness, a fantastic Mosel cabinet! It's already enjoyable with its incredible freshness, but also has the structure for many years of aging.

The Molitor name is a long-standing fixture on the Terraced Mosel. It stands for uncompromising quality and a fantastic variety in terms of vineyards and winemaking styles. The house's Rieslings are absolutely classic Mosel and offer delicate fruit—dry or sweet—in perfect balance with smoky slate. The house's Burgundies are equally impressive, consistently convincing at all levels of quality.
