The Wine

100% Chardonnay from 2015, like everything at Brison, grown on limestone marl. Fermented and aged in barriques, bottled in June 2016. Subsequent maturation on the lees until disgorgement in May 2023. No dosage was added to the champagne. The 2015 Chardonnay radiates chalky, smoky, and mineral notes from the glass. Plenty of citrus and subtle spice, yet everything smells as fresh and vibrant as the wine on the palate. There's plenty of citrus fruit, candied citrus peel, limestone, and a subtle saltiness. It's very stimulating and refreshing, with an intense aroma and precise structure. A perfect match for seafood, especially fresh oysters!

The Winery

Louise Brison
Louise Brison Today, great-granddaughter Delphine runs the traditional Louise Brison winery. She works in the vineyards using sustainable methods and meticulous care. Maximum healthiness of the grapes forms the basis for her champagnes, all of which are aged on the lees for at least five years before being bottled.
