The Wine

This Riesling Kabinett from the AJ Adam winery comes from the tiny monopoly Häs'chen vineyard, planted with approximately 90-year-old, ungrafted vines. On the nose, a fragrant, aromatic bouquet with plenty of ripe citrus, lots of orange, candied citrus, and candied tropical fruits. Ripe, full aromas, but perfectly balanced, not a trace of overripe or overheated. Completely open at the moment, yet very fine and delicate, a silky drinkable wine, endlessly delicious, with a delicate, perfectly measured residual sweetness and a subtle yet penetrating piquancy on the finish. Totally harmonious, so open and accessible at the moment, a wonderful, addictive Kabinett!

The Winery

Weingut A.J. Adam
Weingut A.J. Adam At the Adam winery, vinification is all about the terroir. The wines are conceived as ambassadors of their origins, meant to be as pure as possible in the glass. In their youth, the GGs, in particular, are very reserved and shine even more brilliantly with a few years of aging.
