The Wine

This dry Riesling comes from young vines from the renowned Dhroner Hofberg vineyard. It is aged in steel and old Mosel barrels. The nose is full of citrus fruits, grapefruit, bergamot, lime, and lemon, fresh and clear. Bone-dry on the palate, with stimulating acidity, stony and chalky notes. The finish offers the full spectrum of citrus. This has plenty of punch and grip for a "simple" estate wine, is a real pleasure to drink, and could certainly improve with a bit of ageing. A lot of wine for the money!

The Winery

Weingut A.J. Adam
Weingut A.J. Adam At the Adam winery, vinification is all about the terroir. The wines are conceived as ambassadors of their origins, meant to be as pure as possible in the glass. In their youth, the GGs, in particular, are very reserved and shine even more brilliantly with a few years of aging.
