The Wine

Very fragrant, aromatically spicy on the nose. The Sauvignon leaps from the glass, very direct. Gooseberry, bright and fresh, very clear. Very fresh in the mouth, lively acidity, fine fruit, a lovely melt. This isn't an extreme like Tement's larger Sauvignons, but rather approachable and extremely drinkable. So beautifully stimulating, slightly salty, slightly chalky, a hint of fruit, everything beautifully balanced, with a lovely piquancy. Truly delicious and crisp, a great, drinkable Sauvignon Blanc of a high standard. Simply an absolutely solid wine year after year!
