The Wine

Tiny yields from old vines, like everything at Foradori, are biodynamic, trained in the pergola-like style typical of Trentino. Aged on the skins for eight months in amphorae. An ultra-ethereal nose. Menthol, eucalyptus, and mint, with incredible intensity. Concentrated, dense, sweet black cherry, a profound fruit core on the nose, which, however, initially struggles against this ethereal wall. Added to this is a hearty, herbal spiciness: there's juniper berry, dill, tobacco, and a whole smorgasbord of spices, it never ends. With plenty of air, more and more dense, black, and sweet cherry fruit emerges. A totally impressive nose, full of freshness, black fruit, spicy power, and enormous depth. In the mouth, it's super straight and fresh; the dark opulence of the nose is exchanged for juicy sour cherry, fine acidity, and plenty of salt; the tannins are present but already integrated. It bursts through the mouth with freshness and red fruit flavors, super lively and agile, amazing. With plenty of aeration, this is already a real pleasure to drink, and will surely gain even more harmony in the coming years. A truly great, incredibly characterful, and impressive Teroldego from the Dolomites.
