The Wine

Tiny yields from old vines, like everything at Foradori, are biodynamic, trained in the pergola-like conditions typical of Trentino. Aged on the skins for eight months in amphorae. Like the Morei, it's super ethereal, with eucalyptus, mint, and mountain pine, but there's also plenty of fresh marjoram and oregano, along with slightly smoky notes. A very dark, spicy character, underpinned by black fruit, including blackberry and wild blueberry, and above all cherry. The palate is clear and juicy with polished tannins, endless sour cherry, salty notes, and an unbridled, cool freshness. Slightly bitter tannins linger on the finish, echoing with fruit and spice. A wonderfully fresh Teroldego with an alpine character, less dark impact than the Morei, but just as intense.
