This dry Traminer appears bright golden yellow in the glass. While the nose is typically aromatic, characterized by lychee, nashi pear, and rose, it is not overly opulent. The fruit radiates cool and defined, framed by a bright spice that provides a wonderfully balanced finish. On the palate, a deep salinity – powerful yet lean, with medium acidity and noticeable tannins. Untypically (for a Gewürztraminer), this wine communicates much more through structure than aroma. 28 days of skin contact, then aging for 10 months in used tonneaux. 100% hand-picked and manually pressed. This is truly magnificent and precise winemaking, the kind we love. A great food companion as well as a solo artist.
